Luke Littler has regained the top spot on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit. The 17-year-old teenage sensation was the best at the Austrian Darts Open last weekend, capturing his second Euro Tour title of the season. Earlier this year, he also won the Belgian Darts Open.

This year, Littler already earned £62,500 at the Euro Tour tournaments, and that while playing only three of the five tournaments. Number two Martin Schindler did play all five tournaments and, thanks to his final victory at the International Darts Open, is in third place with 47,000 pounds.

The other two Euro Tour tournaments were won by Luke Humphries and Gary Anderson. They are currently in third and fourth place on the Euro Tour Order of Merit. Incidentally, Humphries and Anderson were missing last weekend in Graz.

The same was true for Gerwyn Price, who is still in fifth place with £33,000. Ross Smith moved up to sixth after his semifinal finish at the Austrian Darts Open. Behind that are Rob Cross and Stephen Bunting with Michael van Gerwen also in the top 10.

Joe Cullen had to settle for second place behind Littler at the Austrian Dart Open. 'The Rockstar' did move up to 11th position in the rankings due to this performance.

Peter Wright (26th), Nathan Aspinall (27th) and Michael Smith (28th) for instance are only just inside the qualification spots but with withdrawals for the latter two, they sit needing to make up ground going forward.

At the end of the season, the 32 best players in the rankings will compete in the European Championship in Dortmund. This tournament is scheduled from Oct. 24 to 27.
