We are paying attention to Russia and Singapore in this article. The Russians are competing in the World Cup of Darts for the seventh time, while the Asians have entered the field for the sixth time.
Boris Koltsov and Alexey Kadochnikov represent Russia at the World Cup of Darts. They did this together once before, in 2015. They fell at the first hurdle after losing to Australia in the first round.
Since then Koltsov retained his position in the Russian team, while Kadochnikov is making his second appearance. Koltsov claimed his best result in 2017, together with Aleksandr Oreshkin. They reached the quarter-finals and were edged out by runner-up Wales after beating Hong Kong and Australia.

Paul Lim and Harith Lim are inseparable at the World Cup of Darts. They entered this tournament together in 2014 and five years later the two Singaporeans still form a team.
The two Lims, not related to each other, achieved their best result in 2017. They started that tournament with a sensational win over Gary Anderson and Peter Wright's Scotland. Spain was also beaten by Paul and Harith Lim, before they were stopped by Belgium after a special showdown. Kim Huybrechts hit the second highest average ever during a televised match, while Paul Lim set an Asian record. The Belgians Kim and Ronny Huybrechts eventually won the game after a doubles match.
