Michael van Gerwen will once again contest the final of the 2020 PDC World Championship against Peter Wright as he looks to claim a fourth World title.
Van Gerwen en route to the final saw off Jelle Klaasen (3-1), Ricky Evans (4-0), Stephen Bunting (4-0), Darius Labanauskas (5-2) and Nathan Aspinall (6-3).
In terms of tournament statistics, his tournament average is 98.14. His 180 count stands at only 27 with nine 100+ checkouts with a highest checkout of 170.
'Mighty Mike' hasn't been at his best all tournament but as usual has found a way to win when it matters most.
He will now hope he can carry that into the final when he takes on Peter Wright who has yet to defeat him in a major televised final; over the longer distance he will be heavily fancied but can he bring it home?
