Noppert on seeing Frisian flag in crowd at PDC World Darts Championship: "It gave me extra strength"

Danny Noppert was 3-1 too strong for David Cameron in the second round of the PDC World Darts Championship last Friday. But besides that win, 'The Freeze' was very pleased for another reason.
"I saw someone in the hall with a Frisian flag," Noppert opens to TOTO Dart Kings. "I liked that so much and it also gave me extra strength to win the match."

Does the Frisian flag do more to him than the Dutch flag? "I find that a difficult question. Both flags make me proud and, above all, it gives me particular satisfaction when I notice them in the arena."
