Gabriel Clemens reached the final day of the German Darts Championship in Hildesheim. He defeated Dave Chisnall 6-2 thanks to a 101 average and a doubles rate of 46 percent.
Chisnall's double rate was just 25 percent. Something that Clemens also noticed during the match: "Normally Dave Chisnall doesn't make so many mistakes, you have to say that."
Clemens was accompanied by fan chants throughout the match. "Always nice to play in front of a home crowd. Hildesheim in particular is something like a living room for us. Thank you for the support!" the German Giant responded to the audience.
