"Now it's time to step up again": Smith looking to make statement at Players Championship Finals after Grand Slam win

Michael Smith heads into the Players Championship Finals this weekend as a major champion having won the Grand Slam of Darts and it is a tournament that he wants to make a statement in.
Smith will face Ritchie Edhouse as he aims for back-to-back TV titles and he is confident after ending his years of pain in finals.
“It’s a big weight off my shoulders, and now it’s time to step up again,” claimed Smith.
“I'm going to enjoy the Grand Slam win, and then Friday is a different event, back on the grind.
“The hard work starts again now, and now I’ve got this one, who knows? I want to be greedy.”
