O’Brien after seeing off Sherrock to reach Lakeside semi-finals: ‘It’s a bit surreal’

Maria O’Brien is through to the semi-finals at Lakeside having seen off Fallon Sherrock in a brilliant performance.
O’Brien spoke afterwards and said that she really enjoyed the game and that she’s pleased to come out as a winner this time.
‘I really enjoyed it, I always have a good game against Fallon (Sherrock) anyway regardless but I’m happy I came out the winner this time.’
She went on to speak about her performance and said that the average doesn’t really matter to her. ‘I don’t mind winning with a 15 average as long as you get the win it doesn’t matter to me.’
Finally on her run in the tournament, O’Brien called it surreal but isn’t getting too carried away. ‘It’s a bit surreal but just take one game at a time and hopefully I can carry on’
