PDC takes stricter measures to allow Q-School to continue

The PDC have already had to taken some measures in order to still stage Q-School this year.

But due to national lockdowns including in the UK, further measures have been added.

For example, participants have to register their hotel stay via the PDC or PDC Europe. All participants in the European Q-School will receive a hotel room in the H + Hotel in Niedernhausen, while a Hilton hotel on site is set for UK Q-School in Milton Keynes.

Players who live close to the playing location are also obliged to stay overnight in the players hotel.

Test needed to travel

Anyone entering Germany must be able to submit a negative Covid test that has been taken up to 48 hours prior to entry. To participate in UK Q-School also, players must provide a test that is no more than 72 hours old due to the borders shutting this week.

These tests may also be taken on site, but the PDC will provide more information about this later.

This first phase of the Q-School is set from 8 to 10 February and 11 to 13 February. Players can obtain a place at the second phase of the Q-School (February 14-17). This is where PDC Tour Cards are distributed.
