Devon Petersen heads into the World Championship in the form of his life and ahead of the tournament in a Players to Watch feature, his confidence showed that.
'The African Warrior' will be seeded for the first time and he believes he has a serious chance of making his dream come true.
"I think the World's always has a special place in my heart and being a World Champion it's a dream of mine and hopefully the Ally Pally will be kind to me," said Petersen.
"My stance is confidence, I have the self-belief so anything I say I will achieve at some point. People always knock me and say you'll never become World Champion but it's my belief and my goal so my biggest strength is my self confidence."
"This year probably is one of the years that I can achieve that but we've got players that are playing phenomenal as well so there's no disrespect to them when I say because the World's is my ultimate goal."
