The PDC has announced the first participants for the 2022 PDC World Youth Championship. A total of 96 players will compete for the world youth title.
The tournament starts on Sunday 9 October in Wigan. The event will then be played until two players remain. The final will then be played - as tradition dictates - during the final session of the Players Championship Finals on November 27.
The 14 Tour Card holders, who were under the age of 24 on 1 January this year, have received an invitation to the PDC World Youth Championship. This list include Callan Rydz, Keane Barry and Josh Rock.
Also joining the field of competitors are 23 international qualfiers, which includes JDC and BDO Youth World Champion Bradly Roes. The remaining spots will be filled with the 59 best players on the 2022 PDC Development Tour.
