Gerwyn Price was one of a few players to survive potential shocks on the opening day of action at the US Darts Masters.
Price
edged past Gary Mawson and said that due to never winning in Las Vegas before, he was a bit edgy.
He added that for him he wasn’t at his best but that his attention now turns to a clash between him and Gary Anderson who will face off for the first time since their controversial Grand Slam final.
"I lost here in the first round last year and I really wanted to win here more than ever," admitted Price. "I was a bit edgy.”
"I wasn't at my best but I got through and I can prepare for tomorrow now."
