PRICE INTO THE FINAL! Not his finest performance by any means but it's more points on the board for Price as he beats Aspinall 6-3 to reach the Final. He will face Michael Smith for the title in Leeds! bit.ly/PL23Live | #PLDarts SF
Gerwyn Price will be in a third consecutive weekly final in this year's Premier League Darts with a fifth title in his sights as he looks to put the icing on the cake of a play-off spot.
As well as of course heading towards topping the league and the bonus that comes with it. He will face Michael Smith on Night 13 in Leeds.
While not at his free flowing best, he got the job done against Nathan Aspinall in the second semi-final with a 6-3 win for 'The Iceman'.
He started as he ended the last game with an 11-darter hitting a 180 and 82 checkout but despite Aspinall halving the deficit, he went 3-1 up.
More missed darts at doubles allowed Price a 5-2 lead but Aspinall kept himself involved for a time at 5-3 down with a break only for Price to seal it on double 12 in the following leg.
Next is Smith who saw off Peter Wright who couldn't back up his opening win of the night over Michael van Gerwen.
It was a blockbuster conclusion for Smith who hit a 164 checkout to reach his fifth weekly final of the campaign sealing a 6-2 win after Wright failed to find the levels of his opener.
