Gerwyn Price will aim to regain the
Grand Slam of Darts title on his return to the Aldersley Leisure Village this next week and in a time where he has received differing levels of crowd support, he believes the key is playing well.
"I truly believe if I start playing rubbish darts, the crowd will get on my back. Same with most players but even more so on mine but as long as I can keep playing well, keep the crowd on my side then I'm sure they'll be alright. But soon as I start to slip a little bit, they're definitely going to be jumping on my back," he said to OCHE.
Cafe 501
A venture which has kept Price busy as well as renovating houses has been a new Cafe 501 back home which he revealed is there for the community.
"I don't know if I'll be serving, I'll definitely be consuming. I don't know if it's going to be a good thing either because I could put a few pounds on. But I hope I put a few pounds in the bank out of this place.
"It's an investment, it's for me to put some jobs in the local village. My sister's going to run it, try and get some employment. If it doesn't earn any money and it just breaks even, I'll be happy."
