After eight of the thirty Players Championship tournaments that are set to take place this season, there are multiple players who have emerged from the rest according to statistics.
In the
statistics they include Nathan Aspinall who is currently leading the
Players Championship Order of Merit. The Stockport ace has won two tournaments so far this season; he leads with a total of £26,000.
Ian White unsurprisingly leads the highest overall average. 'Diamond' has been averaging around 105 all year without getting the results; this equates to 101.47 over the course of the eight tournaments according to statistics; ahead of Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen. He finally got his reward for that this past weekend
claiming the title in Barnsley on the Sunday.
Peter Wright leads the rest with top 180's and most ton plus finishes. For the former he has hit 125 as he went through his run at the start of the year when he broke
multiple records; while for 100+ plus it was 31; alongside a player who always figures in James Wade who has 27 according to Premium Dart Data.
