Brian Raman has claimed victory in the Cologne Matchplay in Germany winning the first prize of €700 as a result.
Raman defeated Kim Huybrechts (7-3), Dennie Olde Kalter (8-5) and then finally Ron Meulenkamp in a 9-7 win. It had previously been a group stage with the victor and Meulenkamp together in the same group.
Meulenkamp was the victor first time around seeing him off 5-1 but in the end the Belgian took victory over him in the final.
It was a field that also included Kevin Munch and Wesley Plaisier - with the latter familiar to viewers of the European Tour.
