Ratajski on return from downturn in form after Bunting win: "Now I'm more concentrated because I lose it during the match"

Krzysztof Ratajski was too strong for Stephen Bunting in the first round of the World Matchplay. In the next round, the Pole awaits a duel with defending champion Peter Wright.

Ratajski defeated Bunting 10-6 and averaged almost a hundred. "I feel great, it was really hard work for me so now it's a little rest and time to celebrate this win," he said post match.

Reaching the semi-finals last year, he hopes he can go one further this year and potentially regain his form.

"I have from here really good memories, last year was the best for me. I hope to repeat it and hopefully improve it."

Speaking about where his game is right now, he spoke about the reason for the downturn in form in the first place.

"I think it's close to my best. I feel good with my darts, I know I can play very good. I lose sometimes but with good averages. Now I'm more concentrated because I lose it during the match, I felt it. I'm throwing but without the focus, now it's back and I hope it can stay."
