Raymond Smith set for PDC World Darts Championship return after winning DPA Tour Finals

Raymond Smith's run at the PDC World Darts Championship this past year was well documented with 'The Guru' going through travel nightmares but in an incredible display, he reached the Last 16 where he lost to Mervyn King.

But in similar last gasp circumstances, he will make his way back to Ally Pally in December after winning the DPA Tour Finals defeating Joe Comito in the final.

In early June, Smith tweeted that he would not attempt to qualify for the World Series due to schedule changes and clashes which also ended his chances of qualifying for the World's and potentially giving Q-School a go.

But yesterday after realising he was eligible, he drove 14 hours to arrive just in time before going all the way. Superb from 'The Guru'.
