Ratajski tops highest averages from first round at World Matchplay

Krzysztof Ratajski has thrown the highest average during the first round at the World Matchplay becoming one of only three players to throw an average over a hundred during the opening action.

Ratajski beat Brendan Dolan 10-4 in the first round thanks to an average of 101.57. Luke Humphries (101.08) and Rob Cross (100.22) also broke the 100 average barrier.

Peter Wright was best of the rest with an average of 99.75 in his match against Danny Noppert (10-2). With this, Wright scored significantly higher than his big rivals Gerwyn Price (96.57) and Michael van Gerwen (95.69).
