Luke Woodhouse played Austrian Marcus Haider in the afternoon session of the
Austrian Darts Open. Despite winning it was obvious that Woody was limping badly.
Speaking to Adrian Geiler, Woodhouse revealed why:
He has severe pain in his lower back, which has meant that he has not been able to walk without pain. The exact cause of the pain is still unknown to the Englishman himself. However, Woody suspects that it is a pinched nerve.
With Woodhouse winning his match, the question remains if he can get the pain under control and compete in the second round.
