Russ Bray has the moniker of ‘The Voice’ and it seems he doesn’t only use that in darts but also as a singer away from PDC Tournaments.
Bray is best known for his raw, hoarse voice with which he gives a special emphasis on every 180 during a match. He also uses that special voice to sing.
“When I have some free time, at home or during tournaments, I download some chords from songs that I like. And then I try to play it the best I can. I am not a good guitar player, but I enjoy doing it ”, said ‘The Voice’ in conversation with RTL 7.
Within the PDC there are some other people who also make music. “John McDonald (Master of Ceremonies) plays the keyboard and Scott Gibling (official) plays the drums. I often have contact with Scott, I play something and send it to him, then he adds the drum part. We are having a good time with it. ”
