Russ Bray has had an illustrious career in the PDC working since 1996 at the World Matchplay in Blackpool and is one of the best known due to his unique style of calling and his subsequent nickname of 'The Voice'.

Having refereed many finals and big matches along the way, the question arises of his favourite and in a recent interview; he discussed his in the form of the 2007 World Championship final between Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld.

"It was the very last PDC tournament/World Championship at the iconic Circus Tavern for one because the following year we went to Ally Pally. Taylor took an early lead; Barney then pulled it back. I then went on for the second half of the final and the game itself was absolutely terrific," said Bray in an interview on High Roller Radio.

"Backwards and forwards, then to go to a sudden death leg in the final set of a World Championship final was just fabulous. The atmosphere, the tension, the pure sporting drama of that 2007 final was something I hadn't experienced before. That was probably the best match for me ever."
