The initial rounds are done at the 2021
World Grand Prix and we are now down to the business end at the Morningside Arena in Leicester with the Quarter-Finals set to take place on Thursday night.
A draw blown wide open by seeded players being knocked out, there is once again a big chance for players to make a name for themselves.
Including for Danny Noppert and Ian White who took out Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson earlier in the tournament and they will now face off for a spot in the semi-finals. They open up the Quarter-Final line-up.
Before a potential match of the tournament between the rock solid Krzysztof Ratajski who has been superb so far this tournament against Jonny Clayton who dazzled as usual on the finishing at the end of his match with Jose de Sousa.
While Clayton is looking for his first ranking major, Ratajski will be aiming for his first TV title making it an intriguing battle.
As is Gerwyn Price facing Dave Chisnall. The former is the favourite for the tournament and the biggest name left in and after last year's win over Chisnall at the semi-final stage, he will hope to once again see off the St Helens ace to reach that point again. While 'Chizzy' will have other ideas and will want to dump out the World Champion.
Finally, Stephen Bunting will take on Ryan Searle in the last match of the night.
Potentially two of the standout players of the tournament so far, both have dazzled on their scoring and finishing and if they catch light in this one, it could standout.
For both as well though, like many of the other players left in it represents a massive chance to push on towards their first major final and even more so if some of the remaining names head home. An intriguing night awaits at the Morningside Arena.
