Fallon Sherrock lost out to Chris Dobey in a 4-2 defeat as the Queen of the Palace's run ended to the dismay of the crowd at the 2020 PDC World Championship as well as her legion of her new fans which has seen darts brought under the microscope.
Sherrock spoke afterwards and said that she loved every minute of the experience and that she is hoping now for further success.
The Milton Keynes ace once again reiterated that she will be off to Q-School to January and she can now look forward of course to her World Series bow next June.
"Chris played really well at the end and I couldn't keep up with him," said Sherrock.
"I've loved every minute of this experience. The crowd were incredible again, I loved the way they were so supportive.
"I've never experienced anything like it before but hopefully I will in the future.
"I hope this journey can continue, I'm going to Q School in January where I hope to win a Tour Card and I've also got the World Series event in New York to look forward to in June."
