Sherrock moves into quarter-finals after good display against Suzuki, Ashton and Winstanley also through to last eight

Lorraine Winstanley, Fallon Sherrock and Lisa Ashton are among the eight players who have reached the quarter-finals during the ninth event of the PDC Women's Series 2022.

Sherrock moved into the last eight with a strong display against Mikuru Suzuki. 'The Queen of the Palace', who played in Amsterdam at the Dutch Darts Masters on Friday evening, averaged 93 to beat Suzuki 4-1. Ashton knocked out Rhian O'Sullivan and Rhian Griffiths en route to the quarter-finals, while Winstanley beat the likes of Robyn Byrne and Kirsty Hutchinson.

The ladies can earn prize money with their results. These results count towards the final ranking. The two best players can participate in the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship. In addition, the top eight players in the rankings after twelve tournaments receive an invitation to the first Women's World Matchplay.
