Smith-Soutar and Rydz-Joyce confirmed for Players Championship 15 semi-finals

The semi-finals are confirmed at Players Championship 15 with Michael Smith continuing his exceptional double in Wigan.

Smith saw off Florian Hempel who didn't do a lot wrong but couldn't live with 'Bully Boy' who produced a 114 average and hit a nine-dart finish on his way to a blistering 6-2 win. He next faces Alan Soutar who makes a welcome return to the latter stages.

While it is a North East battle between Callan Rydz and Ryan Joyce - two friends off the oche - who takes the bragging rights and moves into the final?
