Austria reached the final of the
World Cup of Darts last year and began their campaign by defying a mid game slump to see off Finland.
Next up is Wales in a crunch clash and for both they see it is a game which they have a chance in and one where they are not afraid.
"Good win, a very hard game. Two legs, three legs I played not so good. Rowby played brilliant, I come back it's a team win," said Suljovic to Online Darts.
"In the beginning he always moaned but I was thinking have a good start and I performed in the beginning and I scored well. But he finished well. I couldn't hit any doubles at the end of the game but this is a team game," said Rodriguez.
"It is a short format in a single game and we're both capable of winning. There is no team we're afraid of. He can win his singles, if not I'm going to win it. As soon as it comes to the doubles, I think we're one of the best teams."
