After a strong performance at the World Darts Championship against Michael van Gerwen, Mensur Suljovic has nevertheless had a disappointing 2023 so far. Reason for 'The Gentle' to change tack.
For many years, the Austrian worked with German manufacturer BULL'S Darts, which was responsible for the design of Suljovic's arrows. Last year, however, the former major winner made the switch to Legend Darts.
However, this has not yet produced good results. Suljovic will now also team up with manufacturer Trinidad, whose Condor brand focuses on designing systems where flight and shafts attach to each other. Among others, Devon Petersen, Kim Huybrechts and Jose de Sousa have also partnered with this company.
Suljovic recently joined compatriot Rowby-John Rodriguez in action for Austria at the World Cup of Darts, but was eliminated in the group stage. Earlier in June, 'The Gentle' did reach the semi-finals of a Players Championship tournament.
