Suzuki speaks ahead of facing Taylor in charity soft-tip match: “To beat him would be totally unbelievable”

Mikuru Suzuki will take part in a charity soft tip match on Thursday in the second iteration of Darts from Home against Phil Taylor.

Suzuki is a current two time Ladies World Champion and is ecstatic about the thought of facing Taylor.

As ‘The Miracle’ points out though don’t discount her as she has made a name for herself due to her soft tip exploits before playing steel tip.

In the match the duo will be raising money for their chosen charities and there will be money donated per 180 and one dart finish.

“In Japan he’s known literally as the God of Darts. I don’t think there is someone in Japan who plays darts and doesn’t know Phil Taylor,” said Suzuki.

“Everybody will be super-happy and impressed that I’m playing a charity game against him.

“To beat him would be totally unbelievable.

“He’s amazing. I can barely describe him with words.

“I first saw him play about 11 years ago. When I met him at Frankfurt last year, I felt he was charming, approachable, easy to speak with him

“In soft tip darts, I have a lot of experience of playing and then beating men on the Asia Tour.”
