The 30th edition of the PDC World Darts Championship summarized in numbers

In recent weeks, the 30th edition of the World Darts Championship at the PDC was played. This tournament was eventually won by Michael Smith, who outlasted Michael van Gerwen 7-4 in sets in the final match. The event was summed up in numbers by statistician Philipp Wolff.

A total of 95 matches were played. Fifteen times an average of over 100 was recorded, while the tournament average came out to 91.66. 54,560 darts were thrown, divided into 1,800 legs and 434 sets.

A total of 998 171+ scores were thrown, including 901 maximum 180 scores. The latter is a tournament record at the World Darts Championship.

The overall finish percentage was 36.17 percent, while 180 finishes of 100 or more were thrown, with 170 being the highest. This checkout was thrown by Martin Schindler, Michael Smith, Chris Dobey, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Dimitri van den Bergh and Michael van Gerwen.
