Ted Hankey and his appearances as a BDO player are synonymous with the tournament with one of his most memorable matches of his career coming in 2013.
In the fourteenth leg, the two-time Lakeside champion tied the score by making it 7-7. He eventually won the game 10-9 after a decisive leg.
