The World Series of Darts barring the finals in Salzburg will not take place this year and that includes of course the Australia/New Zealand leg which is a fixture of the post World Matchplay calendar which is what we take a look back on.
Corey Cadby and Phil Taylor faced off during the semi-finals of the 2017 Auckland Darts Masters. A lot of strange things happened in this match.
Taylor seemed to be annoyed by the rapture of his Australian opponent. In addition, 'The Power' threw Cadby's towel into the audience during the game.
A little later it was thrown back onto the stage. Later in the match, Taylor wiped his bum with his towel but this didn't have the effect he'd hope as he went onto lose 11-8.
