The World Grand Prix starts on Tuesday and ahead of proceedings beginning in Coventry, another look at a throwback Video featuring James Wade and Robert Thornton.
Wade is known as having nine-darters hit against him including the first ever double start nine-darter against Brendan Dolan but this time around it was the Machine who hit one.
Back at the 2014 edition, he started proceedings with double 20 and two treble 20's followed by a 180 and a 161.
Thornton himself lived up to this by hitting one himself against Wade with the same finish but in the end it was 'The Machine' who claimed victory.
