The latest edition of the
World Cup of Darts is set to begin tomorrow in Jena and as usual, it is a mix of both pairs and also individual which is what will be focused on with the top 10 averages hit over the latter format.
These matches are played over a short best of seven format. As a result, it can lead to higher averages and nine players have managed to produce an average of 110 or higher at the World Cup of Darts.
Kim Huybrechts holds the highest mark with an average of 121.97 in his tie against Paul Lim. He beat his brothers' mark a day prior with Ronny Huybrechts hitting 115.62.
William O'Connor took third place with an average of 115.10 against Rob Cross during the World Cup of Darts 2019. Phil Taylor and Mensur Suljovic are both fourth with 113.43.
This is followed by Raymond van Barneveld (113.38), Michael van Gerwen (111.33), Peter Wright (110.29) and Martin Schindler (110.00).
Only the tenth place on the list is not an average of 110 or higher. Gary Anderson was just short of breaking that barrier in 2010 with an average of 109.98.
