Vincent van der Voort produced a 103 average as well as a 157 checkout en route to victory against Adam Gawlas in an impressive display from 'The Dutch Destroyer'.
Van der Voort spoke afterwards and heaped praise on his opponent who fell 6-3.
"It was a very good game. I knew that he's a very good player and he's a very big talent. I was a little bit disappointed with the start, I missed a couple of doubles and I let him in but a good way to finish it," said Van der Voort on stage.
Next up is James Wade and despite a quality display, he wants to be better when he faces a familiar opponent in 'The Machine'.
"James is a very good match player so he knows what to do so I'm gonna have to be on my game to beat him and I will try to be better than today."
