Michael van Gerwen returned to the foray in this year's Premier League Darts after a poor Super Series and this showed in his efforts in Milton Keynes.
Over the course of the three nights, he remained unbeaten leaving with six points which has seen him top.
He defeated Dimitri van den Bergh 8-3, Jonny Clayton 8-5 and James Wade 8-3 as he puts himself in a good position for the play-offs.
Another player who performed excellently once more was Jose de Sousa with two wins and a draw which saw him into the top four to end the latest block.
If only for a comeback by James Wade to prevent the win, he would also have six points added to his total.
While further down, it doesn't look good for James Wade and Peter Wright who finished on one and zero points respectively and sit in 7th and 8th as a result.
For Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri van den Bergh even after superb starts overall, they could only claim one win.
