The World Matchplay was the first major tournament since the UK Open and despite being behind closed doors, the finishing didn’t disappoint.
Dimitri van den Bergh broke the World Matchplay record for the amount of 100+ finishes and this showed with a high checkout of 170. He had five above 132 showing his true class in winning his first major title.
Other players to star include Gabriel Clemens (170), Adrian Lewis (161) and Jose de Sousa (161).
