Wade on Petersen after semi-final victory at European Championship: "Like a lot of players, I don't think they should be as sure of themselves"

James Wade reached the final of the European Championship this past weekend losing out to Peter Wright in the end.

But before that, he defeated Devon Petersen and 'The Machine' said that for him like a lot of dart players, he shouldn't be as confident as he is.

"I had a little eye on Devon. He's very confident and he's very sure of himself and like a lot of players, I don't think they should be as sure as themselves as they are," said Wade to RTL7.

"I'm the doubter and I think some of the other players, if they doubted themselves a little bit, it might give them the kick up the backside to be a little bit different. Devon's a great dart player, he believes in himself. I don't know any dart player who believes in themselves as much as Devon."
