Simon Whitlock eased through to the Third Round at the 2020 PDC World Championship with victory over debutant Harry Ward.
Whitlock spoke afterwards especially regarding his preparation and believes that his over 100 hours on the board before the tournament began put him in good stead for his tie against Ward, who before the tournament began held a 1-1 head to head record with.
"I've been practising harder than ever for this," said Whitlock.
"I've put in around 100 hours on the board at home in the last six weeks and I feel like that made all the difference today."
