Wright after regaining World Cup of Darts alongside Henderson: "John's going to take over the world now"

Peter Wright has claimed back-to-back TV titles and his second success at the World Cup of Darts after Scotland's triumph over Austria on Sunday night.

Teaming with John Henderson, Wright was incredibly proud of their efforts and also had some kind words about his partner who he believes could have a Jonny Clayton-esque rise now.

"It means so much to me," said an emotional Wright. "Every time I play I'm putting everything on the line.

"We had the hardest draw but John helped to carry me through. He stood up proud and hit the doubles to get us into the final.

"It was a privilege to play with him - John's going to take over the world now like Jonny Clayton did after winning it last year."
