The line-up for the final day of action at the International Darts Open in Riesa is complete with Peter Wright and Michael Smith living up to their billing on Saturday evening.
Wright averaged just 88.4 but eased past Luke Woodhouse in a whitewash win with 66% on the doubles as he looks to head towards the World Number One spot which he referenced post match while discussing his 'Austin Powers' type shirt.
While Smith survived a late fightback from Simon Whitlock to move through in a 6-4 victory against 'The Wizard' with Dirk van Duijvenbode next up for 'Bully Boy'.
He averaged only 91 with zero 180's but was clinical on doubles with 6/9 (66.7%) as he edged through.
The St Helens ace went 5-2 up only for Whitlock to hit back with a 126 checkout followed up with a hold of throw in the form of a 65 checkout on double 16 as he went 5-4 down.
Whitlock missed 160 to send the tie all the way after Smith had missed match darts but 'Bully Boy' returned for double eight to edge through.
