The 2021
Dutch Open Darts will not take place in February. A reliable source has told Dutch website Dartsnieuws that the event is postponed due to the corona-pandemic.
The intention was that the registration would open on Thursday October 1. Earlier it was already communicated by the organisation of the Dutch Open Darts that this was delayed to an as yet unknown date.
Now it turns out that it's not possible to organise the tournament from February 5-7. Due to the outbreak of the corona virus, there is still too much uncertainty about the possibilities of organising such a tournament in February 2021.
NDB director Paul Engelbertink previously left the option open that the biggest open darts tournament in the world would take place later in the year.
