Jelle Klaasen has captured the number-one position on the WDF rankings thanks to winning the WDF Irish Open last weekend. 'The Cobra' leads the ranking with 716 points.
With his title in Ireland, Klaasen earned 180 points for the ranking. Earlier this year, the former Lakeside champion already took the title at the Dutch Open, earning 270 points.
Number two Neil Duff, however, is close behind Klaasen with 713 points. The gap to the other players, however, is substantial. James Hurrell (626 points), Haupai Puha (576 points) and Chris Landman (488 points) complete the top five. Richard Veenstra is the second Dutchman in 11th place, with Alexander Merkx shortly behind in 12th.
