James Richardson and Beau Greaves won the titles at the singles tournaments of the WDF British Classic in Bridlington on Sunday.
Richardson reached the final after wins over Gary Hayes (4-1), Dave Parletti (4-1), Mark Barilli (4-1) and Davie Kirwan, before 'Ruthless' was too strong for Gary Stone (6-4) in the final.
In the ladies event, Greaves ran away with the title. The Englishwoman conceded just one leg in her four matches on her way to the semi-final. Then Noa-Lynn van Leuven managed to force her to play a final leg, in which Greaves showed her class with a 15-dart leg. The reigning women's world champion then beat Lisa Ashton comfortably 5-1 to claim the victory.
