Kevin Painter produced a commanding win over Dennis Harbour to reach the Quarter-Finals again of the World Seniors Darts Championship.
Painter also wore a tribute to Eric Bristow in the form of his darts shirt who played in the initial League of Legends, a pre cursor to the Seniors and is a player that 'The Artist' believes would've loved it.
"Eric's a legend. Loved him, he was one of my best mates. If it weren't for Eric, I wouldn't have even picked up a dart back in the day, it's just a nice tribute. I am really pleased to put his shirt on and win while I'm wearing it," said Painter to Online Darts.
"This would have been Eric all over, it's a shame it wasn't going on when Eric was still around, bless him. He would have loved this.
"Even if he wasn't playing in it, he would have loved all the surroundings of it. He'd have loved this, he really would."
