Former two time World Championship Quarter-Finalist, Terry O'Dea has sadly passed away at the age of 76.
O'Dea played in ten successive BDO World Championships with the two aforementioned runs coming in 1982 and 1986 with 1984 and 1986 also gleaming the same run in the World Masters.
He also won both the WDF Pacific Cup Singles and Pairs both in 1982 before leaving the BDO and darts seemingly in 1988 after a run to the final of the Australian Grand Masters and reaching the Last 32 in the World Championship.
Paul Nicholson, a fellow Aussie along with Steve Beaton were among many who paid tribute to O'Dea this morning.

This is awful news. A giant of the Aussie game and a real trailblazer for world darts in the 1980’s. His legacy is still being felt to this day. Rest easy Terry. 🙁
