BDO World Darts Championship taking place this year due to the demise of the organisation, DartsNews continues to look back on some of the best matches and moments from over the years.
Onto 1985 we go and it was a fourth World title for
Eric Bristow who renewed his rivalry with John Lowe in the final time the tournament was held at the Jollees Cabaret Club before shifting to the Lakeside.
After a closely ran opener to Ken Summers when it was nearly an early exit for the ‘Crafty Cockney’, he went all the way to the final where he claimed a 6-2 win over John Lowe.
