Jim Williams is now the MAD Wales National Champion having defended that title a few weeks ago but just over a year ago saw the debacle with the BDO World Championship which ultimately saw the demise of the organisation.
He spoke on that as well as looking ahead to the Challenge Tour and what that will bring.

"It got to the stage that it had gone too far so you've just go to try and accept what had happened and take from it what you can. It was life changing money for both of us but it wasn't meant to be," said Williams to Online Darts.
"But yeah hopefully things will move forward from now."
"You expect a lot. Probably before lockdown, I was playing as good as I've ever played. I was averaging mid 90's most games so you expect to be there."
"You've got to take it as it is and enjoy it. Challenge Tour is something we can aim towards and give it a good go."
