Jim Williams retained his Welsh national title last weekend at the MAD Contender Series Finals and he was pleased not only to retain it but also get a game and start match practice again.
Williams played recently in the Online Darts League with the goal of the Challenge Tour coming up.
"It's nice just to play, I haven't played for months and months so to come out to have a game is great," said Williams to Online Darts.
"It's going to take a bit of time to get back up playing how you want to play but I enjoyed it."
"I will go to Challenge Tour. I went to the MODUS League a couple of weeks ago so that's really when I started. I've had a few days in a week having a throw, it's got to start somewhere."
The Quiff is a decent player, too good to not be involved in competitive darts. He was regularly at the same standard as Glen Durrant and look what he achieved once in the PDC. I think he’d do very well if he could get through Qschool - Good luck Jim !
good luck to the guy. shame he didn't get his dues from the final. he's a strong player.
