Bradly Roes wins 2021 JDC World Youth Championship with victory over Bennett who misses 15 match darts

Bradly Roes is the 2021 JDC World Youth Champion after seeing off Leighton Bennett in a 5-4 victory on the Alexandra Palace stage before proceedings began on Saturday afternoon in the PDC World Darts Championship.

Bennett missed 15 match darts as he didn't live up to his favourite tag on the Ally Pally stage in defeat.

The Dutchman went 2-0 up with a 112 checkout before Bennett broke back to make it 2-2.

He pinned a 180 and double 20 to go 3-2 up before increasing his lead to 4-2 in a leg which featured a `168 and double 18.

Bennett missed 130 on double five before encountering double trouble further in going for the title. Roes pounced on double three to make it 4-3.

A 180 and double 20 saw a decider forced. It was a brilliant deciding leg for Bennett but that was soon cancelled out as Roes came from 326 down when Bennett missed multiple match darts again.

He pinned double 20 when he got down to the finish and claimed the title.
