Also in Landman's group were Robin Beger, Jelle Klaasen, Andy Jenkins, Johan van Velzen and David Davies. In the end, the final match between Davies and Landman had to decide the group win. "That was tough. I didn't play my best game. There were good games and bad games, luckily the last game I played well," Landman said. "It's come to between me and Davies and yeah, we do our thing and luckily I won."
In his previous participation in the Modus Super Series, Landman also advanced to the final night as group winner. "Some people say it's an advantage, some say it's not so yeah, I hope it is. It's always nice to play on Saturday so we'll see. I hope I play better next time."
